He is recognized nationally for the strategic and crisis communications counsel given to global industry leaders, elected officials and celebrities on sensitive matters impacting their reputation and brand. For nearly 20 years, Jarvis was one of the most sought after federal government and public affairs consultants in Washington. Prior to his consulting career, he served as chief of staff to former U.S. Rep. Harold Ford, Jr. of Tennessee, on the senior staff of former Clinton Labor Secretary Alexis M. Herman and as a senior advisor to a number of U.S. and international political campaigns. Jarvis also served on the Biden/Harris 2020 National Finance Committee and the Biden for President Maryland Leadership Council.
Jarvis serves on several nonprofit boards, and has been a guest lecturer at at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and Howard University. He is a member of the American Chamber in Dubai and travels frequently to South America where he counsels business and government leaders. Jarvis is also a founding partner of the Washington Nationals and was the first Chairman of the Washington Nationals Baseball Academy. A native Texan and graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Jarvis lives in the Washington, DC area with his wife Stacey and their daughters Madeleine and Savannah.

Julianne Malveaux Ph.D is a Senior Advisor at Cover Communications, where she provides advice and counsel to CEOs and organizational executives on gender and racial equity matters.
Educated at MIT and Boston College, Dr. Malveaux is an internationally known author, public speaker, and thought leader on how race, gender, and economics will impact our country's growth. She is the former president of Bennett College in North Carolina, America's oldest historically black college for women, and has also been faculty or visiting faculty at the New School for Social Research, San Francisco State University, UC Berkeley, College of Notre Dame in California, Michigan State University and Howard University.
A prolific writer, Dr. Malveaux's Op-Eds and columns can be found in USA Today, Black Issues in Higher Education, Ms. Magazine, Essence Magazine, and the Progressive. She currently writes a column that appears in more than 25 Black newspapers each month. Dr. Malveaux also makes regular appearances on cable news shows and C-SPAN.
Currently, Dr. Malveaux is the Honorary Co-Chair of the Social Action Commission of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and serves on the boards of the Economic Policy Institute and The Recreation Wish List Committee of Washington, DC. A native of San Francisco, California, she is the founder and president of Economic Education, a Washington, D.C. non-profit.
Bashon Mann is a Senior Strategist at Cover Communications and advises clients on developing effective crisis, emergency preparedness, and homeland security communications.
He is a retired Lt. Commander of the United States Navy, where he had a distinguished career as a chief information and public affairs officer. Bashon’s military service includes tours of duty at the Naval Special Warfare Center, Bureau of Navy Medicine and Surgery, where he served aboard the USNA Mercy and Comfort in response to the tsunami in Indonesia, Hurricane Katrina, and the earthquake in Haiti. He was later assigned to the Navy’s International Program Office and served in Kabul, Afghanistan.
For more than six years, Bashon was an instructor at the Defense Information School, where he taught courses on crisis communication planning and execution. He is a highly decorated Naval Officer, having received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, three Navy Commendation Medals, and three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
Bashon is also a founding partner and principal consultant with Provision Advisors, a full-service public relations he formed with his fellow Navy servicemen.
A native of Wappinger Falls, New York, Bashon is a graduate of the Navy’s Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida, and the University of Memphis. He is the author of Daddy’s Love Note, which he dedicated to his daughters Basil and Sabine.

As a Senior Correspondent and anchor for Black Entertainment Television (BET), he covers political and public affairs issues and produces documentaries and news specials for the iconic network.

In addition to a stellar career at BET, Andre has held positions in front and behind the camera at NBC News, Fox News, and CBS News.
He holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland College Park.
Claudia is a Senior Manager, Diversity Communications at Cover and is responsible for advising clients on workplace equity and strategies to build stronger ties with the Latinx community.
She is an activist, thought leader and recently authored her first book, The Changing Face of Power, where she chronicles the rise of new Latinx leaders in America.
Prior to joining Cover, Claudia held positions at the Human Rights Campaign and Thorn Run Partners, where she led the firm’s communications, stakeholder engagement, and coalition-building efforts. She also worked in the Office of U.S. Rep. Pete DeFazio of Oregon.
Claudia also served in the Obama Administration in the Office of Presidential Personnel, where she helped identify and diverse candidates to serve in non-traditional senior roles throughout the administration. She also worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she launched a program to create a career pipeline for students interested in clinical research.
A native of Peru, Claudia spent her early years living and being educated throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, where she became fluent in several languages.
Claudia is a graduate of Villanova University and received her European Politics Certification from the European School of Political and Social Sciences at l’Université Catholique de Lille in Northern France.
